| Served Royal Irish Regt 1915 2bn Stormed and carried the village of Le Pilly 19 Oct were on the following day cut off and surrounded suffering heavy losses. He remained in France after the Armistice of 11 Nov 1918 seving with the Labour Corps Burying the the dead and those found on the battle field along with much spent munitions. they were payed over and obove the normal army rates for this work did not have a gratefull return after such labour , very little is to be found about the Corps .
